Users who rely on the P-8 and P-6 routes to travel in Havana may face serious difficulties accessing that service starting this Thursday.

Transportación Habana TH reported through its Facebook profile: “At the moment, there are no P-8 or P-6 buses, the buses are broken,” highlighting the suspension of service due to technical problems with the units.

In addition, he pointed out: "Reinforcement buses are expected, we just have to wait for them to arrive," without providing details on when this situation, which affects the users of these routes, will be resolved.

Mobility in Havana is complicating this Thursday due to weather conditions, with heavy rains since early morning that have hindered transportation around the city even further.

In July, the Cuban government acknowledged the transport crisis in the country, revealing that more than half of the provincial routes are paralyzed, as reported this Tuesday during the session of the Cuban Parliament.

Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Minister of Transportation (Mitrans), indicated that at the end of April, 52% of the routes of provincial transportation companies were paralyzed, as reported by the official newspaper Granma.
