A crowd of Cubans gathered on the night of Saturday, October 19, in front of Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami to pay tribute to the urban singer El Taiger, who passed away on October 10.

The artist's funeral took place in the afternoon at the Church of San Lázaro, in an event marked by sorrow and respect for the figure of the reggaeton artist.

The followers of El Taiger, whose real name was José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, gathered in large numbers outside the hospital, where a car was found with the singer inside after he had been shot in the head.

El Taiger had been hospitalized at Jackson Memorial for several days before his passing, making the site a symbolic place for those who wanted to say a final goodbye.

The moment was captured in a video shared by the Cuban journalist Mario Vallejo through his Facebook profile. In the images, attendees can be seen listening to the music of El Taiger while holding their mobile phones up high, immortalizing a moment of profound farewell.

The Cuban community in Miami expressed its affection and admiration for the artist, who left a mark on Cuba's urban music with hits that resonated both inside and outside the island.
