The Cuban reggaeton artist Jacob Forever shared a reflection in his Instagram stories where he expressed his concern about the loss of exclusivity in live music. In his post, the artist noted that while it is positive that musicians are earning more, the consequence is that many live bands are starting to sound similar.
"Exclusivity with musicians is diminishing more and more; it's good that they earn more, but obviously, exclusivity is increasingly lost," Jacob wrote. He also mentioned that this situation has led to many live bands sounding the same, which he believes is affecting the authenticity of live performances.
This causes almost all live bands to sound the same.
The singer closed his message on a respectful note, assuring that his intention is not to criticize, but simply to make an observation: “I leave this with you, always with much respect, greetings and blessings.”
Jacob Forever, whose real name is Yosdany Jacob Carmenates, is one of the most recognized Cuban artists. On his social media, the singer shares not only his music and projects but also his thoughts on his career and the industry.
