The story behind Glen, the doll that accompanied El Taiger

Glen is the son of the evil dolls Chucky and Tiffany from the Child's Play horror film series.

For some, a symbol of bad omens; for others, a kind of talisman. Glen, the doll that accompanied El Taiger in his last music video and at several concerts and social media appearances before his death, has sparked the curiosity of many of his followers.

Glen is the son of the evil dolls Chucky and Tiffany from the horror movie series Child's Play, and although his alter ego Glenda represents his malevolent side, the truth is that Glen is the kindest and most innocent part of the character.

In the movie Seed of Chucky (2004), where Glen appears, he is horrified by his parents' violence, and although his appearance may suggest otherwise, he is not evil.

But how did this doll end up in the hands of El Taiger, and what did it mean to him? According to a text from Cuba Cute, the doll Glen belonged to a friend of the reggaeton artist Sandro Cumbas. However, it was more than just a simple accessory for the singer, as he began to identify with the doll and it became a symbol of his style and image.

The artist's manager, Teresa Padrón, traveled to Cuba for El Taiger's burial and brought with her the doll that would now be in the hands of her youngest daughter, Ana Paloma.

Images of the girl holding the doll are circulating on social media, sparking mixed reactions: "I ask you to separate that little angel from that doll; there’s something demonic about it—just looking at it gives me chills. Remove it from beside that girl"; "If that doll were truly so powerful, El Taiger would still be alive today. And they're giving it to the little girl? It's unbelievable, people have no limits. Objects carry the burdens of their owners, and this one has only brought sorrow and misfortune"; "That doll exudes a very dark aura to be near a child"; "I believe the girl shouldn’t keep that doll. In the name of Jesus, I cast out any evil spirit that may be attached to it."

Others, on the contrary, do not see this negative meaning: "God bless you, beautiful girl, fear nothing. Be afraid of the wicked living ones, those are the ones to fear. Your daddy in heaven must be very proud and happy that you have him. Your daddy knew what the true purpose of that doll was"; "Watch the movie. Just like Glen, El Taiger was a good person surrounded by evil. Don’t be afraid of a simple doll; it’s the living who are truly frightening and can be treacherous, just like what they did to El Taiger. Leave behind the superstitions and focus on seeking justice for him"; "Glen is the complete opposite of his parents; he is Chucky's son and stands against violence. That doll is not bad at all; it's the living who are the real problem, not a doll. Poor girls, they've been left orphaned and have destroyed an entire family."
