This Tuesday, it was announced on social media that the person of interest in the case of the deceased Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger is reportedly in police custody.
Cuban-American broadcaster Enrique Santos shared the information in a post on his Instagram profile.
"Damián Valdez-Galloso, the individual sought by Miami police in connection with the homicide of Cuban singer El Taiger, is in custody. More details coming soon," it was reported.
Teresa Padrón, the manager of the reggaeton artist, reacted in her Instagram stories: "God, you are great."
The post generated many comments from colleagues and fans of the artist who hope justice will be served soon for his murder.
So far, the Miami police have not issued any statements regarding this matter, but on more than one occasion, they have indicated that Damián Valdez-Galloso was being sought as a person of interest.
Last week, Manuel A. Morales, the head of the Miami Police, stated in an interview that there had been significant progress in the investigation into the death of El Taiger and that the case would be resolved very soon.
