A person of interest in the El Taiger case is now in police custody

This Tuesday, it was revealed on social media that the person of interest in the case of the deceased Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger is in police custody.

The Cuban-American broadcaster Enrique Santos shared the information in a post on his Instagram profile.

"Damián Valdez-Galloso, the individual sought by the Miami police in connection with the murder of Cuban singer El Taiger, is in custody. More details coming soon," it was reported.

Teresa Padrón, the manager of the reggaeton artist, reacted on her Instagram story: "God, you are great."

The post generated many comments from colleagues and followers of the artist who hope justice will be served soon for his murder.

So far, the Miami police have not issued any statements regarding this matter, but they have indicated on more than one occasion that they were seeking Damián Valdez-Galloso as a person of interest.

Last week, Manuel A. Morales, the head of the Miami Police, stated in an interview that there had been significant progress in the investigation into the death of El Taiger and that the case would be resolved very soon.
