Teresa Padrón claims that Damián Valdez Galloso may accept a plea deal in the case of El Taiger's murder

Damián Valdez Galloso, accused of the murder of Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, may accept a plea deal. Teresa Padrón, the artist's representative, shares her thoughts on the case in Miami.

Teresa Padrón, businesswoman and representative of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, shared her thoughts on Damián Valdez Galloso's absence from his court hearing in Miami-Dade. Valdez Galloso, identified as the perpetrator of the popular artist's murder, is facing serious charges, including second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and possession of a firearm.

In an interview with Univisión, Padrón stated that he finds it probable that Valdez Galloso will accept a plea deal to avoid a full trial, given the public pressure and the seriousness of the charges.

His statement came after Valdez Galloso decided not to appear in court for a bail review related to a prior charge of sexual abuse and for violating the requirements of sex offender registration.

During his first court appearance, Judge Mindy S. Glazer denied bail to Valdez Galloso, questioning the prosecution's decision to file second-degree murder charges instead of first-degree murder, given that the evidence could suggest a higher level of premeditation.

Valdez Galloso's next court appearance is scheduled for November 22, when the murder charges and other relevant details of the case will be reviewed.

Padrón remarked, "I can imagine why he doesn't want to face the situation, because he knows that everyone is watching him and demanding answers," reflecting the impact this case has had on the Miami community.

Fans of El Taiger and the Cuban community in the city are closely following the judicial developments, hoping for justice for the reggaeton artist. The case has drawn significant media attention and is a widely discussed topic in Miami, where El Taiger enjoyed great popularity.
