The cut-off date for Damián Valdez-Galloso in the El Taiger homicide case has been changed

"I imagine the reason was that they found out a lot of people were going to show up on Friday," said the reggaeton artist's manager during a livestream.

With just a few days left until Damián Valdez-Galloso's second court appearance regarding the homicide case of El Taiger, a change in the date has been announced.

Teresa Padrón, the artist's manager, confirmed this Tuesday that the hearing originally scheduled for November 22 will take place one day earlier at 9:00 a.m.

"I imagine the reason was because they found out a lot of people were going to show up on Friday. The court usually does that to prevent crowds from forming and things like that. Still, it doesn't matter; that's still public information, so they can't hide it," Teresa explained.

"The hearing has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 21, at nine in the morning. It will still be the same court with the same judge. The number of people allowed inside will be limited, but they can remain outside with their signs. The only request we have is that they please do not bring music to avoid any issues," the manager added.

"This is something we are going to do peacefully; we are seeking justice and we will do things the right way," he asserted.

Teresa also mentioned that they will submit to the prosecutor's office the petition with over 49,000 signatures, demanding that Damián Valdez-Galloso be charged with first-degree murder rather than second-degree, as he currently is.

A few days ago, the Miami Police confirmed that they have all the evidence needed to secure a guilty verdict against Damián.

However, Teresa Padrón continues to insist that there is indeed a second person involved in the murder of the Cuban reguetonero who would have assisted Valdez-Galloso.
