There's nothing more frustrating than waiting for a package that doesn't arrive when you need it most, especially during such a special time as Christmas.

Do you want Christmas gifts to arrive on time for your loved ones? Pay attention to this article because the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS, and FedEx have already announced the deadlines for sending your packages to ensure they arrive before the holidays.

USPS recommends sending as soon as possible. For shipments within the contiguous 48 states, the key dates are:

  • December 18 for first-class mail or ground advantage.
  • December 19 for priority mail.
  • December 21 for express priority mail

If you are in Alaska or Hawaii, the deadlines are tighter: for USPS ground shipping, it’s December 16; first-class mail is December 18; priority mail is December 19; and express priority mail is December 20.

FedEx, for its part, offers options for every budget. If you use services like economical ground shipping, you should drop off your package before December 13th.

Last-minute shipments, such as those for overnight or same-day delivery, can still be made until December 23 and 24, though be prepared to pay more.

UPS also advises not to postpone it until the last minute. Their fastest services, such as next-day air delivery, have a deadline of December 23.

Don't wait until the last minute. If you want your gifts to arrive on time and avoid unnecessary stress, plan ahead for shipping and remember to pick them up quickly at your doorstep, as package thefts are on the rise this season.

Remember that you can check the websites of each postal company if you need more details about international delivery times or specific services. Send your packages in advance and celebrate this Christmas with peace of mind with your family!
