The train accident that occurred on the morning of this Saturday in the province of Sancti Spíritus has caused a significant oil spill, affecting nearby homes and agricultural areas.

The incident, which occurred when two trains collided at kilometer 349.0 of the Central Railway Line, between the Guayos and Siguaney stations, resulted in one of the tank cars overturning, spilling a significant amount of oil.
