According to Cubadebate, Havana once again becomes the epicenter of international dance with the second edition of Ballet Beyond Borders (BBB), an event that brings together artists from over 20 countries in a space for cultural exchange and learning.

Starting this Tuesday and until January 11, the festival will feature masterclasses, competitions, and galas in iconic venues of the capital, such as the National Theater and the headquarters of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba.

In this edition, nearly 150 international artists from countries such as the United States, Italy, South Africa, Pakistan, and Romania join 162 Cuban participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Among the highlighted activities is the Dance Challenge, featuring categories that range from classical ballet to contemporary dances, hip hop, and flamenco.

For the first time, the festival will also expand beyond the capital with a special gala at the Tomás Terry Theater in Cienfuegos, scheduled for January 13.
