Maluma wins a Billboard award and celebrates with his girlfriend

This Thursday the 2018 Latin Billboard Awards gala took place in Las Vegas, attended by some of the greatest exponents of Hispanic music.

One of the winners of the night was the Colombian Maluma, who won the trophy for 'Best Social Media Artist' from the 2018 Billboard Awards.

Natalia Barulích, his girlfriend, was by his side to celebrate. The model of Cuban-Croatian origin gave her boy a effusive kiss before he went on stage.

"At least (I'm taking) one," Maluma joked when thanking him for what was his first trophy of the night, after having lost in five other categories. "This award is very important to me because I feel that social networks mean a lot, it is direct communication with my fans," said Maluma.

The singer has 32 million followers on his Instagram account, where he reaches 6,400 publications.

The author of 'Corazón' and 'Felices los 4' is in an unbeatable moment in his career. Recently, the reggaeton artist gave an interview to Latin Billboard for Facebook and confessed that he suffered when Shakira, the big absentee from the gala, introduced him to Gerard Piqué.

"It was the moment of greatest tension in my life," said Maluma, laughing. At that moment, he remembered the lyrics of the chorus of the song 'Trap'. "She wants me to do it in different places. She is tired of disappointments..."

“For me, Maluma is one of the most talented people I know. He has mental agility to write songs and, the best thing, we always agree,” the Colombian said of him.
