Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport remains closed this Thursday, after the Federal Aviation Administration ordered the suspension of flights due toadverse weather conditions due to heavy rains and floods.

Reports indicated that delays at the airport increased to 75 minutes on Wednesday afternoon before it was closed completely, disrupting all flight activity.
