Apple TV revealed this Monday the first trailer and the release date of thedocumentary filmMessi meets America, which tells the story of the Argentine star after his arrival in Major League Soccer with the Inter Miami squad.
The series will premiere on October 11 and will consist of six episodes that attest to the repercussion associated with Messi's arrival in North America, where he unleasheda real football boom which translated into packed stadiums and multimillion-dollar profits, including those received by Apple TV itself.
The company's CEO, Tim Cook, himself told Business Insider in August that "we are excited about our partnership with MLS and are delighted to see Messi suit up for Inter Miami. We are clearly in the early days, butwe are exceeding our expectations in terms of subscribers".

Messi, who shortly after signing with the 'Herons' was decisive in winning the Leagues Cup and advancing to the final of theUS Open Cup, has been sidelined from the field since he was affected by discomfort during a World Cup qualifying match with the Albiceleste.
