The Cuban comedianOtto Ortiz He reacted indignantly to Wednesday's pro-government Round Table, which discussed insurance in Cuba.

Otto, who several times has publicly denounced the National Insurance Company (ESEN), for having failed to comply with its obligation to replace the actor's car after it was disabled in an accident, criticized its leaders for falsifying the truth before the media, and also to the program, for not questioning anything that is said.

"Today they held a Round Table and talked about car insurance. They lied blatantly, they lied publicly, lying is already a way of life. And everyone knows it, those who speak lie and those who listen and do not ask assume the lie. Where Cuban journalism left?" he questioned in his account.Facebook.

The actor accused ESEN and the Caudal Group, which represents it, of not fulfilling their commitments, and accused its manager of lying on television.

"The manager said that in 2023 they had increased the delivery of cars for replacement, but he did not say that the majority of those who have found cars that do not walk are cars that are taken in escatolinas and they take them away because they do not know when they will need them. They will give cars that work," he said.

"We are in 2024 and they owe clients since 2019. They cannot say that they have improved when what they give is useless and they are five years behind," he added.

In the comedian's opinion, the Round Table does not respect itself when making these programs, and he asked that they also invite clients and those affected.

"Let them see both sides of the problem; that is journalism, what they do is false advertising. And I say this knowingly, I am affected," he concluded.

Last week, Ortiz announced that he would soonHe will go to Spain for work and that he contracted travel insurance with ESEN.

"God, please protect me, take care of me from all evils. I have spent money on insurance for the pleasure of it. Let nothing happen to me," he asked ironically.

In September, announced his intention to sue ESEN, since years ago he signed a contract to insure his car and it was of no use to him.

The comedian accused the company and its managers of making agreements for years that they cannot fulfill, and of only "meeting with their dissatisfied clients to buy time and prolong their agony."

"In a country where importing cars is no longer a crime, in a country where a considerable number of rented cars are sent to an entity that is dedicated to dismantling them to sell them in parts or delivers them for replacement, in a country where There are parking lots full of unused cars. It is absurd that this company, ESEN, continues with the same discourse from years ago and without giving a concrete answer," he questioned.

"ESEN, don't deceive us anymore, remove the replacement of the car from your insurance modality, comply with what you have, and after that, try again," he stressed.

Otto had an insurance policy on his car. Unfortunately, an accident left his vehicle unusable and despite his insistent claims, the company did not pay him the money he was owed, years after the accident occurred.

The businessman also asked his friends and followers if they knew of a lawyer or any way in which he could sue the company, to let him know.
