The mathematician Yusnier Faith invited Cubans in Miami to witness a historic moment, his attempt to conquer the world record in mental calculation.
The event is scheduled for March 9, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, in the Miami Dade College, on the Hialeah Campus, in room 5101B.
The Cuban asked his followers to attend the event to support him and to be part of an incredible moment for him and for lovers of science, especially science. Mathematics.
Yusnier Faith is affectionately known as the "human calculator", will try to not only surprise, but also make history once again, by breaking a world record in mental calculation.
This Cuban owns an impressive collection of 21 world records. His supernatural ability to calculate past and future calendar dates in mere fractions of a second has put him on the global map as one of the world's fastest mathematicians.
In the Guinness Book of Records, Viera is the man who calculates the fastest dates in the world, a title that has been his on several occasions since 2005. The "human almanac" was born in Bejucal, in the Mayabeque province, on the 26th of April 1982. He is 41 years old.
Next Saturday's event is not only a test of speed and precision, but also of perseverance and passion for numbers.
The life of this Cuban is the exact combination of practice, dedication, and a good algorithm, thus has managed to demonstrate that human limits can be expanded considerably.
Viera found her passion for mathematics when she decided to participate in the mental math olympics in 2004.
