Mawell nominated for the Monitor Music Awards: "Thanks to Cuba and the world"

Mawell is celebrating another triumph in his musical career and it has just beennominated for the Monitor Music Awards 2024.

The reggaeton singer is one of the five singers selectedin the Breakthrough Artist of the Year category, which also includes the Panamanian Farah and the Colombians Pirlo, Camilo Cuervo and Pepe Guerrero.

On his Instagram profile, Mawell shared the news with his followers along with hisinfinite gratitude for this recognition of his career.

“Thank you God for this great news, I am nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year in one of the largest Latin awards in the world.Thanks to Cuba and the world”, he wrote in the description of the post.

Each year the Monitor Music Awards celebrate Latin music and heritage, calling on singers, actors and influencers who are leaving their marks in the world of entertainment.

The gala of the fifth edition of these awards will take placenext July 31 in Medellín, Colombia.

Last year another Cuban,El Micha was nominated for the Monitor Music Awards in that same category.
