A huge alligator measuring over three and a half meters (12 feet) long was captured at the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa and later relocated to the Gatorama park in Palmdale, Florida.
The sighting of the enormous reptile was shared on Facebook by the Matt Devitt WINK Weather page, pointing out that, due to its dimensions, the animal seemed to have come straight out of the Jurassic Park movie saga.
"He is already making new alligator friends. That's definitely a big boy!" commented the page on the social network.
Last April, another huge alligator was also captured at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
The reptile roamed freely on the runway at MacDill Air Force Base before being caught and relocated to a nearby river by personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
A video posted on Facebook shows two officers from the animal conservation agency struggling with the alligator, which was thrashing and resisting being subdued. Tied with ropes, they were eventually able to subdue it and lead it off the runway.
