An accident involving a car and a motorcycle occurred on Wednesday morning in the Flores neighborhood of Santiago de Cuba.
The communicator Yosmany Mayeta posted on Facebook that a follower sent the images and reported that the motorcycle collided with the car, and the driver of the latter took the motorcyclist to the nearest hospital.
He also specified that the incident occurred after 11:00 am, at the intersection of 5th Street and Comandante Borrero, in an area known as Altoficio, near the Municipal Polyclinic.
"So far, it is unclear how the events actually unfolded and the condition of the injured individuals," he stated.
He also requested any information regarding the incident and the health status of the individuals involved in the accident.
A tragic event occurred on the morning of this Tuesday in the mountainous area of Candelaria, in the province of Artemisa.
A total of 22 members of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) were injured after the ZIL 130 truck they were traveling in was involved in a serious accident.
The vehicle, coming from Bahía Honda, lost control at kilometer 12 of the Soroa road, near the Mango Bonito area, as reported by Artemisa Diario.
Another accident occurred this Tuesday in the neighborhood of El Vedado, Havana, in which a driver sustained minor head injuries after the vintage car he was driving collided with a modern vehicle.
In a post on the Facebook group “Accidents Buses & Trucks for more experience and fewer victims!” it was revealed that the incident occurred at the corner of G Street and 17th Avenue.
