Discussion in a Miami gym ends in stabbing

Two elderly men were injured after starting a fight at L.A Fitness gym, located at 14100 SW 8th St, allegedly over a locker in the men's bathroom.

The Miami-Dade police said it all started with a verbal argument, which escalated to one of the individuals involved stabbing the other, who then retaliated by attacking with a chair.

The two men were taken to Kendall Hospital to receive medical treatment for the seriousness of their injuries. The one who was stabbed is reported to be in stable condition.

Both are in police custody while they continue the investigation to determine the causes of the aggression.

Despite the seriousness of the incident, the gym remained open, which has caused concern among regular users.
