Mawell is just days away from releasing a new song titled "Selena," and it's already generating buzz on social media.
On his Instagram account, the Cuban reggaeton artist shared a preview of the song and the music video, leading many to wonder if it will be another big hit for the singer.
"On June 28, what everyone has been eagerly anticipating. 'Selena'. I love you all, thank you for making each release a success in my new chapter," the artist wrote in the description of his post.
From the snippet that has been revealed, it is already known that Mawell is ready to repeat the formula of his recent musical hits: a highly danceable rhythm and an incredibly catchy lyric.
"The pretty face and curly hair, and a body like a mermaid / As soon as she posts a photo, her DMs fill up / She shows it all, she’s not shy / She knows she’s hot and attractive / You have to see her when she comes out of the beach and shakes off the sand / Everyone tells her to stop, Selena,” says part of the lyrics.
The music video for the song was filmed on the beach, featuring several male models, a woman who is the protagonist of the story, and dancers.
