Cuban actress Gelliset Valdés shared photos from her celebration for the Fourth of July with her Instagram followers this Thursday, some of which included close family and friends.
In her post, the Cuban actress expressed her joy and pride at being in this country to celebrate such a significant date for the third year in a row.
"It's my third year celebrating the 4th of July because I feel a deep pride for this great country that welcomed me. I say I'm the most American I220-A there is!!! I missed some photos, but everyone has been present for this celebration," Valdés wrote alongside the pictures.

Gelliset Valdés experienced one of the most emotional moments of her life in early June when she realized her dream of reuniting with her mother in the United States. After more than two years of separation, Valdés shared the touching reunion on her social media, accompanied by a message filled with gratitude and joy.
In the video posted on Instagram at that moment, you can see the warm embrace shared with her mother, marking the end of a long wait and symbolizing family unity. "Life has been good to me! Today, two and a half years after coming to this great country, I have my mother with me. I am grateful for everything and everyone!!!!! For the past two days, I’ve had the feeling that I’m in a dream. I feel blessed to have this wonderful family," she expressed excitedly in the post.
