The match ended with a 4-2 victory for Industriales, eliminating Santiago from the championship semifinals.

It has been an epic comeback for Los Leones, who, after losing the first three games of the playoff, won the next four, an unprecedented occurrence in the country at this stage of the tournament.

Shortly after Wilber Reyna's departure, with the score tied at one run, Roberto Acevedo hit a triple off reliever Yoendris Montero, giving Industriales the lead. In the next inning, Dairon Miranda struck another triple that brought in two more runs, extending the lead to 4-1.

In the seventh inning, the Avispas scored for the last time in the game.

Pitcher Maikel Taylor was the winner of the game, having allowed only two runs over seven and two-thirds innings, with six strikeouts and one walk.

The semifinals will start next Wednesday. The schedule will be announced after this Sunday, when the winner of the match between Matanzas and Granma is determined.
