A fatal traffic accident claimed the lives of two people at kilometer 144 of the National Highway, near the municipality of Jagüey Grande, in the Cuban province of Matanzas.
According to reports on social media, the crash was between a motorcycle and a modern rental car for tourism, although more specific details about the unfortunate situation are unknown.
In the Facebook group named "Yo Jagüey," user Suney San Roman stated that, in addition to the deceased, a woman from the locality was injured and is currently in the provincial hospital.
Likewise, he detailed that there were three people on the tour: one of them died upon arriving at the medical center, and the other two fled.
Among the comments on the publication, they identify one of the deceased (the one from Jagüey and supposedly the occupant of the motorcycle) as a father named "Carlitos", who worked at the state company Cubataxi.
