An accident occurred this Tuesday in Havana when an almendrón lost its brakes and collided with a motorcycle.
Lemay Scull reported in the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!" that the incident occurred on the San Agustín and Sofía causeway, in the Párraga neighborhood, Arroyo Naranjo municipality.
"Right now, on the Calzada de San Agustín and Sofía, Párraga, the machine lost its brakes," he noted.
Although Scull did not provide information about the health status of the individuals involved in the incident, in the shared gallery of images, it can be seen that it was a violent collision.
It was also not specified whether the person driving the motorcycle had a passenger, but in one of the photographs, two pairs of flip-flops can be seen, which suggests that there was indeed a passenger.
In the comments section, some said that the driver of the motorcycle passed away. Others said that he was taken to the hospital. There is also no certainty whether he was alone or accompanied.
A serious accident occurred this Monday in Loma Las Marianas, in the Guantanamo municipality of San Antonio del Sur, leaving 23 people injured, including five children, according to reports.
