The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut on the YouTube platform this Wednesday with his own channel and achieved resounding success: in just two hours he reached one million subscribers, and the number is growing rapidly.

Under the name of UR Cristiano and with 11 videos already available, the star of Al Nassr club seeks to connect more closely with his followers, and the response has been immediate.

At the time of writing these lines, the channel has 7.7 million subscribers, who will have access to a variety of content, ranging from sports topics in which CR7 compares the characteristics of different athletes, to more intimate productions where he and his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, share details of their personal life.

As expected, Georgina plays a crucial role in promoting the channel, as she appears in one of the first videos where both participate in a quiz to see who knows the other better.

"The wait is over! My YouTube channel is finally here. SUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey," announced the former Real Madrid player excitedly through his Instagram account, which has 636 million followers.

In one of the videos titled "Georgina and I tell you what UR Cristiano is about," the couple explains the reason behind this project.

According to Georgina, the goal of the channel is to allow followers to get to know the star athlete in a more personal way. "We are showing who we really are and giving people the opportunity to see that we are also flesh-and-blood people," she commented.

"It's a project of quite a large magnitude," noted, for his part, the one considered one of the best footballers in history.

This story will have new chapters, because the project is serious and the player has hundreds of millions of fans all over planet Earth.
