The change of eye color, the new trend in Miami, in addition to encouraging many to undergo this eye surgery, has triggered countless jokes on social media.
The Cuban comedian Boncó Quiñongo couldn't resist the temptation and, along with two friends, Yeto and Ronald Borrell, posed for the cameras using a filter that makes the eyes blue.
"Wow, ladies and gentlemen, I want to tell you something, three black guys with blue eyes right now look like three police cars," says the comedian in a video on Instagram, starting in a very serious tone but ending in a burst of laughter.
The occurrence of the three triggered many comments among their followers on social media, as it was more than evident that it was all just a joke.
One of the last Cuban artists, after Osmani García, La Diosa, and Dayrán Perdomo, who underwent this procedure called keratopigmentation was Wow Popy.
On his social media, the reggaeton artist shared this week the before and after photos to show his transformation from brown eyes to light blue.
