South Florida and Cuba will experience a drastic change in weather conditions this weekend, following several days of dry and stable weather.
According to a report from Telemundo 51, heavy rains are expected in South Florida due to Tropical Depression 14, Milton, which formed this Saturday in the Gulf of Mexico.
The National Hurricane Center indicated that there is an increasing probability that this system will evolve into a cyclone by the middle of next week.
This system will bring a large volume of moisture to the region, which could result in heavy rains across the Florida peninsula.
In Cuba, the weather pattern will be similar, with rain and thunderstorms primarily affecting the afternoon and evening of the weekend.
In the western region, more frequent precipitation is expected, extending until evening, while in the center and east of the country, the rains will be more scattered, but they could be intense in localities in the interior and the south.
Residents of both regions are advised to stay alert to weather updates and take precautions against the possibility of flooding and severe storms.
