The neighbor of Damian Valdez, the Cuban sought by the police for his alleged involvement in the shooting of El Taiger, speaks out

The neighbors remain surprised by the police presence over the weekend and the search for Valdez-Galloso.

Neighbors of Damian Valdez-Galloso, the Cuban identified as a person of interest by the police in the incident where El Taiger was injured, claim that the man remains missing.

A neighbor of Cuban origin identified as "Yamira," who has known him for a year, stated in an interview with America Tevé that she never observed any strange behavior from him until a SWAT team surrounded his house last weekend in Hialeah.

"We knew each other from greeting one another during the day, good morning, good afternoon, but we never shared any time together," said the woman, who did not provide further details about Valdez-Galloso's character or background.

"I know the house is under surveillance and that Damián is missing. We don't know anything else about him," she added tersely.

When asked whether Damian lived alone or not, she initially said he lived alone, but then referred to "the sister" and "the woman," stating that they also "lived there."

"I have known him for a year, but we never shared anything," insisted Yamira, denying any connection to the man now wanted by the authorities.

The chief of police in Miami, Manuel Morales, ruled out in a press conference on Monday that the incident involving El Taiger was a suicide attempt, labeling what occurred as a "criminal act."

Morales requested civic cooperation to locate Damian Valdez-Galloso, 49, also known as "el Narra," who has been declared a "person of interest" in the investigation of the reggaeton artist, who remains in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital after being found in a vehicle last Thursday with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to previous reports, El Taiger and El Narra were friends, and police investigations revealed that he was one of the last people to be with the reggaeton artist before he was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

During the press conference, Morales explained that the police need to question him regarding the attempted murder that occurred near NW 9th Avenue and 17th Street on October 3rd.

Authorities have offered a reward of $5,000 for reliable information leading to the whereabouts of Damian Valdez, who is 5'09" tall, weighs approximately 186 pounds, has brown eyes and hair, and has tattoos on both arms and his chest.

The police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 305 471-TIPS (8477) or visit the website crimestoppersmiami305.com.
