Jorge Junior still does not have a visa to travel to Miami to be with El Taiger: "Now it's not a matter of the Cuban government."

Jorge Junior blames the US embassy in Cuba for not being able to travel to Miami to be with El Taiger.

Cuban singer Jorge Junior, leader of the group "Los 4," is frustrated and devastated by the difficulties he is facing in obtaining a humanitarian visa to travel to the United States to be with his cousin El Taiger during these challenging times.

In a live video he uploaded to Instagram, Jorge Junior shares that he has been trying to obtain that visa for six days in the hope of traveling to the North American country to be with El Taiger during this critical time when he is hospitalized due to a gunshot wound to the head.

In his statements, he blames the United States embassy for not expediting the process to leave Cuba.

"I have been asking for a humanitarian visa for about 6 days, hoping to go there, and when I arrive at the United States Embassy, an interviewer gives me a form and tells me I have to wait 10 to 20 days. Now I wonder, do those people not know what a humanitarian visa is? There is a person in the United States waiting for a relative in terrible condition, in critical state, who cannot wait 10 days," Jorge Junior began saying.

"Now it's not a matter of the Cuban government, because they moved quickly. I, who have been able to enter the United States to play ball, for whatever I wanted, and now that I need it because my cousin is there, it's more over there than over here, and I can't. They don't care. I don't know if you can make some noise," added the musician, hoping his followers would help him in the cause.

Before releasing this statement, the singer had expressed the following on his social media: "From my side, from moment zero I have moved heaven and earth to be by my cousin's side. I canceled everything and completed all the necessary paperwork. Until tonight, neither my mother nor I have received any response. It is the first time in history that a humanitarian visa is being processed directly from here, as I've been told, and it doesn't depend on this side."

Meanwhile, El Taiger is hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where he was admitted last Thursday. According to the latest information from his management team, the singer is in serious condition. "While we hold onto a small hope, we are also preparing for any eventuality," said one of his managers on Wednesday, October 9.
