Cuban denounces theft of expensive wallet at Cancun Airport: "ruined gift"

Mexican press outlets echoed the report of this robbery.

A Cuban reported on social media the theft of a women's Gucci wallet, which was valued at 35,000 Mexican pesos (approximately 2,000 dollars). The affected individual's accusation is against the employees of Terminal 3 of Cancun Airport in Mexico.

Identified on TikTok as marsito79, this Cuban detailed that he flew with United Airlines from the popular Mexican tourist destination to Houston, Texas Airport, and when he opened his suitcase, he realized that his wallet had been stolen, which was a gift for his wife, who was celebrating her birthday that day.

The aim of his video, as he mentioned, is for anyone traveling to Cancun to be careful with their belongings.

He stated that upon arriving in Houston, he noticed the breakage of the box where he carried the wallet and the theft of the product.

"I, when I checked in the suitcase in Cancun, explained that I had a wallet, and still, they stole from me. So I make this video to serve as proof," he expressed.

The Cuban was filing a complaint at the airline's office in Houston, hoping that the response to this theft would come quickly.

Mexican media outlets also echoed the report of this robbery.
