Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 paid tribute to El Taiger by dedicating a song to him alongside King Lacho, Heredia 2ble aa, and Naii Naii, which premiered this Friday on all digital platforms.

The song, with heartfelt lyrics from beginning to end, came accompanied by images of El Taiger throughout his artistic career and also alongside the young reggaeton artists.

"Homenaje al Taiger" is the title of the song that summarizes what José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar means to the Cuban urban genre, his colleagues in music, and his fans.

The video begins with Dany Ome during a concert saying "La" while the audience completes the phrase in unison with the word "Tranka." "La Tranka of what," adds the singer, and everyone present ends up shouting "of my country," a phrase that El Taiger often repeated referring to himself.

"For Magda, José is for the world La Tranka / The one who fell and always gets up / The one from Los 4 after Desiguales / And with all his craziness, one of the most genuine / The one who makes me laugh / The one I listened to before sleeping / And you went up to heaven and I couldn't say goodbye / And I wish you knew that the whole world is in mourning and it's for you / You are not a singer, you are the feeling of a country," says a part of the lyrics that the followers of Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 have praised.

Recently, Dany Ome shared on his social media that he will donate the royalties from the last song they recorded together to El Taiger's daughters.

El Taiger passed away on October 10, after spending a week hospitalized in critical condition due to a gunshot wound to the head.
