Flor de Cuba responds to criticism about her physique by defending real beauty: "Yes, I have stretch marks since I was 12 years old."

Flor de Cuba goes viral with a plea in favor of real beauty.

The Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba has raised her voice to defend real beauty in a viral TikTok video, where she talks about the social pressure that women around the world face regarding their bodies and physical appearance. In a video where the content creator shows her body as it is, she expresses a direct criticism of beauty stereotypes and the unrealistic expectations that are imposed on women, especially mothers.

"They want us to have children, but without it being noticeable," Flor de Cuba begins firmly, commenting on how mothers are even congratulated when the changes in their bodies after pregnancy are not perceived.

Additionally, the young woman mentions the comments she receives suggesting that she should undergo nose surgery, something she is not willing to do. "Gentlemen, I am not ashamed to say that my grandfather is Angolan, how could I remove the one thing that reminds me of the genes from my family tree?" she asks.

"Yes, I have stretch marks since I was 12 years old. Additionally, I have had two children and my body has changed," she states.

Flor also opens up about stretch marks and the changes in her body after having two children, questioning the double standards of those who demand influencers to show a "real" image and then criticize their imperfections. "How can you expect to accept yourself if you demand perfection from other women?" she reflects, condemning the criticisms and the false image that many people project on social media. "On social media, the photos are edited and the videos are cut to the best angle. Don't believe anything you see. We all have flaws and problems," she concludes.

The video, which has been shared and commented on by thousands of people, has gone viral on TikTok, where it has sparked a necessary debate in the age of social media.
