The tribute to El Taiger will be with a closed casket and police security, according to his manager Teresa

Teresa Padrón, manager of El Taiger, shared details about the tribute to the late Cuban reggaeton artist.


Teresa Padrón, the manager of the late Cuban reggaeton artist José Manuel Carvajal Zaldívar, better known as El Taiger, made a post on her Instagram account where she addressed the funeral and the current state of the urban singer's remains.

"The body of Jose will be in a locked casket, with security guards and police," remarked the Cuban entrepreneur. Teresa also noted that the farewell for El Taiger will take place next Saturday, October 19, at 1:30 p.m., at the Catholic Church of San Lazaro, located in Hialeah, Florida.

Teresa also explained that "Jose's body is in the United States" and that they have not received any reports from the authorities handling the case. "The police haven't told us anything, zero, no information," she added.

The manager also remarked on the support that El Taiger's family provided once he was admitted to the hospital, and that the urban singer's body has not yet been cremated. She also confirmed that the reggaeton artist's death was due to brain death.

Regarding the leaked photo of El Taiger in the hospital, Teresa stated that they are currently investigating to find out who was responsible for leaking the image that has generated so much discussion on social media.
