A young Cuban from Matanzas shared on her TikTok account her frustrating experience of having spent five days without electricity, in a video that has gone viral under the title "I Can’t Stand This Situation Any Longer."

The young woman, who posts on the platform under the username @sheyreyes03, showcased the daily drama that many Cubans face due to the constant blackouts.

In the video, the young woman recounts what she did first after regaining electricity in her home. She took advantage of the return of power to recharge her portable fan amid the high temperatures and lack of ventilation.

In addition, he charged his portable charger, an item he considers "his salvation," aware that the electricity would not last long and that he would need to keep his basic devices powered.

"The first thing I did was charge my fan and the portable charger," she stated, emphasizing the importance of these devices in her day-to-day life. The young woman also washed the clothes that had accumulated during those days and cleaned her house, since there was also no water during the blackout.

However, the tranquility did not last long. At the end of the video, her resignation is heard as she informs that the electricity has gone out again: "It's gone again, let's see how long this lasts," she commented, visibly exhausted.

The testimony of the young woman from Matanzas reflects the difficult reality faced by thousands of Cubans on the island, who often endure lengthy power outages that affect their daily routines and quality of life.
