Cuban in Mexico explains why he considers himself a millionaire and his video goes viral.

"I am a millionaire Cuban in Mexico": YouTuber reflects on TikTok and his video has already surpassed 700,000 views in a day.

Michel Crónicas, a Cuban YouTuber living in Mexico who has shared on several occasions his father's reactions to everything he can access that he didn't have on the island, has revolutionized TikTok with a video in which he describes himself as a “millionaire” for the basic things within his reach.

In just one day, the video has reached more than 774 thousand views, accumulating over 76 thousand likes and thousands of comments that keep reflecting on it.

"I am a millionaire Cuban living in Mexico," says Michel at the beginning of his video, and immediately starts to list everything he has: 24-hour electricity, hot and purified water, yogurt, buttered bread, fresh fruits, and his beloved cup of coffee with milk. The most valuable thing, according to him, is his freedom. "The most important thing I have in Mexico is my freedom, and I know that if I work hard I can achieve each of my goals," he asserts.

Michel's message goes straight to the situation in Cuba, a country where these comforts are almost unthinkable. "Things in Cuba have to change, Cubans need freedom to fulfill each of their dreams," he added, delivering a powerful message about the reality of his homeland.

The post is not leaving anyone indifferent; in the comments, many celebrated his attitude and gratitude towards the country that has welcomed him, while others warned about the possible future of the country: “Enjoy it while you can, because Mexico is on its way to becoming like Cuba,” wrote a concerned user. More optimistic commenters said: “Six years ago, they said we were going to be like Cuba or Venezuela, but we are stronger than ever.”

Political comparisons were not lacking, and users split their opinions between those who believe that Mexico is on the right track and those who think that the country risks following in the footsteps of Cuba. "Mexico is going down that path, it's just a matter of time," said one comment, while some took it humorously: "We'll help you to leave for the USA or Spain."

This kind of reflection from those born in the largest of the Antilles is not unusual online. A few days ago, it was the Cuban YouTuber Anita Mateu (@anita.mateu), who has been living in Galicia for two years, who shared a similar testimony explaining how she feels "rich" due to access to basic necessities that are a luxury in Cuba.

Michel's video, for its part, has brought to the forefront a debate that continues to grow, and with thousands of comments, it is clear that the reflection has struck a very sensitive chord both in Cubans and Mexicans.
