The strong response of a Cuban woman to criticism about why she hasn't returned to Cuba after two years in the USA

Cuban influencer Marlan, who resides in the U.S., explains on TikTok why she doesn’t return to Cuba: she has achieved personal successes and provides financial support to her family from abroad.


The Cuban influencer and businesswoman Marlan, who resides in the United States, has gone viral on TikTok after making a strong response to a user who asked why, after two years in the North American country, she has not yet returned to Cuba.

The comment, “Two years and you don’t plan to go to your country?” prompted a direct and sincere response from Marlan, reflecting the personal reasons and achievements that have shaped his life during this time.

In a video posted on his TikTok account @marlan_estudio, Marlan took the opportunity to showcase the fruits of his efforts since arriving in the United States.

"I got my first little car. I studied to enter the world of beauty; it has always been my dream. The first year of my business was a complete success," the Cuban woman recounted.

In addition, he stated that he recently obtained his residency, signed his first lease, and overcame his fear of performing on stage.

"If I am well, my family in Cuba is well," Marlan said in reference to his support for his mother and brother, whom he has been able to help financially from abroad.

Her message, which reflects a blend of gratitude and perseverance, has resonated with her followers, who have related to her story of overcoming challenges and sacrifice.

With this video, Marlan not only answers the user's question but also illustrates how Cuban emigrants find new opportunities and challenges abroad, as well as the impact these achievements have on their loved ones in Cuba.
