Cuban woman has a tough time after using a dishwasher in Nebraska: "Someone tell me how to use this."

A Cuban woman in Nebraska goes viral on TikTok after misusing the dishwasher, garnering support and advice from other migrants on adapting to new technologies in the U.S.

A young Cuban woman living in Nebraska shared on TikTok the difficult time she had after using the wrong detergent when she ran her dishwasher.

The video, posted on the @yai_lent account, captures the moment when the appliance starts overflowing with foam because the young woman used liquid manual detergent instead of the specific dishwashing product.

"Someone tell me how to use this," she remarked, clearly expressing her confusion about how the appliance worked. A few minutes later, she added humorously, "All night getting foam and water," as she tried to clean the affected area.

The incident has generated multiple reactions on social media, where other users, especially Latinos who have experienced similar situations, have offered advice and expressed their support.

For many migrants, adjusting to life in the United States involves grappling with devices and technologies that are not part of their daily lives in their home countries, and these types of domestic mishaps often become sources of anecdotes and learning experiences.

The video, which has quickly gone viral, highlights with a touch of humor the cultural differences and the adjustment process migrants experience in their new life abroad.
