A patient from the psychiatric hospital in Las Tunas escaped due to the hunger he was experiencing and ended up at a family's home to ask for food.

The Facebook user identifying herself as Chankletera Kolorá reported that this Friday, when she opened her front door, she encountered a young man of about 20 years old who was on her porch asking for clothes and food.

The woman reported that she was afraid he would become violent, as her husband had gone to get bread and she was alone with her children; nevertheless, she decided to help him.

"That's why she sat down. And I was able to take this photo," she said.

The boy told him that he was hospitalized in the Mental Health Hospital, and that he had left because he was very hungry and no one came to see him.

The photographs show that he was wearing the incoming students' uniform, but the good Samaritan clarified that when he left, he was no longer dressed that way; instead, he was wearing a pair of shorts and a dark blue sweater that she had given him.

"He arrived confused and hungry; I thought he was violent, but no (...) he calmed down and sat down to wait. I couldn't say where he went; he left right away," she added.
