Recently, Ja Rulay was the target of criticism from Alexander Otaola when he questioned whether he had actually bought a house near the Casino Deportivo in Havana.
In one of his programs, Otaola called him a "speculator" and an "inflator," stating that the house was still on the market for $70,000, the same price that the reggaeton artist supposedly paid for it.
"You realize it's just inflated; they in Cuba need to pretend that artists in Cuba are also thriving, that artists in Cuba have the opportunity to invest, that artists in Cuba are also moving forward, but it's all false," the host added.
From Spain, during his European tour, Ja Rulay responded to Otaola's insinuations and affirmed that it is indeed his house, which he purchased with his own cash, paid in full: “It's in my name, I no longer live in Colón, now my ID says Casino Deportivo, I paid for it upfront.”
"I have a question I want to ask you, Oti: for that farm and all those houses of yours, get me the title out. I'm 21 years old, and I'm going to get the title right now; I'll show it to you because I've been waiting for this. I'm going to show it to you by paying in cash and signing that I'm already the owner," Ja Rulay challenged.
The singer hinted that all those supposed properties Otaola has probably aren’t even fully paid off with the bank, like many houses bought on credit in the United States.
