Evaluna Montaner has been the first and last guest for the sectionpodcastfrom her husbandCamilo Echeverry a Spotify,Tribe Corner, a space that the young singer took advantage of to reveal that she had coronavirus.
"I got COVID last month, here in Colombia," the daughter ofRicardo Montaner, who despite not having complications, did suffer some symptoms such as loss of smell and taste.
"It lasted two days without having a sense of smell or taste, that was very unpleasant," Evaluna explained to the podcast's listeners. "There was a day when my fever was about to go up one day, but I didn't let it go up," he added.
Despite not suffering complications, the singing couple revealed that it was difficult not being able to be close to each other or touch each other during the time she was infected. In addition, they had to be especially careful because it coincided with the proximity of the Grammy Awards, to which Camilo was invited.
"I wasn't clear about how important physical closeness was for me until I got here and I couldn't be close to Evaluna. We spent a week with masks and at a distance without touching her or hugging her. We only touched each other," acknowledged the interpreter ofRico's life.
"That moment was quite ugly, for me a hug is very important, for him to hold my hand, sleeping together is happiness for me and we couldn't do that in that little time, and you were here for a week in the apartment with me, with COVID and I feel like that was more difficult than being away," Evaluna commented about that time without being able to touch her husband. A difficult distancing since both became inseparable after passing through the altar last February.
