The Japanese company Techno Link donated two advanced pieces of equipment for the rehabilitation of Cuban athletes.
At an event held at the Cuban embassy in the Asian country, the president of the company, Kanda Jin, explained that the donated devices have technology developed exclusively by his firm that is used by all Japanese baseball franchises and other disciplines, and that It was used at the recent Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Kanda showed his admiration for the results of the Cuban athletes in said games and reiterated his willingness to continue supporting them in future international competitions, including the upcoming 2004 Olympics to be held in Paris.
In the delivery, reported by the specialized magazineJIT, the young Cuban champion was presentOmara Durand, along with his guide Yuniol Kindelán. Omara thanked the gesture and pointed out that the equipment will help improve the physical condition and performance of the Island's athletes.
The first vice president of INDER, Raúl Fornés Valenciano, highlighted Techno Link's cooperation with Cuba, a relationship that began a decade ago.
Techno Link is a company in the health care sector founded in 1987, dedicated to the production of medical equipment and devices. Among its business lines is the manufacture of electromedical and electrotherapeutic devices.
