The health condition of a patient admitted due to a fire in Matanzas worsens

One of the patients hospitalized for injuries suffered in the fire at the Matanzas Supertanker Base His health condition worsened in the last few hours.

According to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), this Saturday, August 13, there will be four people in serious condition, one more than the day before.

For the second consecutive day the number of patients increases admitted in this condition.

On the other hand, the The number of patients reported for care fell from 16 to 14. The two that no longer appear in this last section are: the one who worsened and one who was admitted to the Mario Muñoz hospital in Matanzas, who was discharged.

With this, the number of hospitalized people dropped to 22.

According to MINSAP information, there are two pieces of information that remain the same: the number of people who have needed medical attention (132), and patients in critical condition (4).

In total there are 22 people admitted: four in critical condition, four in serious condition and 14 in care, who receive care in six health institutions in Matanzas and Havana.

A patient who was in the Mario Muñoz hospital was transferred to the Luis Díaz Soto, in the capital.
