Being a beggar you have offered like no one else, it is not in vain that Jesus made you a symbol of resurrection.”

“Cover us spiritually in purple, which is a simile of nobility and dignity, bathe us in white, blue and yellow. May my prayer reach your Bethany, there in Jerusalem,” added the artist along with an image of a lilac gladiolus, the representative flower of the saint, and a photo of him with his dog.

Cuban actress Claudia Valdes, who has the image of the saint he considers his father tattooed on one of his arms, also celebrated his day.

“I carry you with me on my skin and in my heart. You are part of my faith and what sustains me when I am faltering. Health is the only thing I ask of you, my old man, for my family, my friends, for the people who love me and that I love, for all the good people, with health we have everything!" he wrote in a post on Instagram.
