Titoverse animated series will premiere in Cuba

The2D animation seriesTitoverse, created by Daniel Martín Subiaut, will premiere in Cuba soon, although there is no set date, official media confirmed.

As clarified by Martín, also director of the series, it has 26 chapters and was advised by Mexican, Asian and Cuban specialists; In addition, it is produced by the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), reportedCubadebate.

Initially the series will be shown in cinemas, then it will move to television and streaming platforms.streaming.

TitoverseIt was written by its creator together with the playwrights Hugo Rivalta and Sadeth Rumbaut.

In the series, widely promoted by the Cuban official media, the eponymous protagonist,a youth hero of Cuban-Mexican nationality, you will face evil in various dimensions and times with a group of friends of different ethnic origins and customs.

“Each chapter contains universal, humanist, Martian values. There is no official release date, but when it comes out, it will touch many hearts and find smiles (...) The universe created around Tito brought new characters, dozens of them, since the adventures developed in single-themed episodes take them on trips in time and multidimensional,” said its director.

It will have as characters Xu Fu, the “good”, Du Yan Long, its antagonist and will include others such as Celia, a fifteen-year-old from Santiago, who defends “Cubanness” and is inspired by Cuban warriors; Xiunela, an “atomic” Havana that fuses the seven African powers and the Chinese dragon, and the cat Mini, who comes from another universe and helps humans.

The protagonists of the series will be Sadeth Rumbaut, Vicky Suárez, Lianet Alarcón and Annie Garcés. The performances of Rigoberto Ferrera and Ulises González will embody the characters of Xu Fu and Du Yan Long, respectively.

The direction of the actors was led by actress Ana Nora Calaza.
