Actors from "Aída" meet again 18 years after the premiere of the popular series

The protagonists of the popular series followed in Cuba enjoying a beautiful reunion full of smiles and also tears of emotion.

It's been 18 years since it was released Aida, the Spanish series that crossed borders to conquer millions of viewers inside and outside of Spain. Among other countries, in Cuba the production was very popular and was widely followed by Cubans, who still remember the characters fondly.

Precisely for the 18th anniversary of the series' launch (2005), some of its protagonists have met in a viral reunion that has brought out the most nostalgic side of lovers of popular fiction, who love to see the complicity and affection that remains among them so many years after the end of Aida, which ended in 2014 after ten seasons.

Carmen Machi (Aida), Paco Leon (Luisma), David Castillo (Jonathan), Melanie Olivares (Paz Bermejo), Ana Polvorosa (Lorena), Miren Ibargueren (Soraya), Eduardo Casanova (Fidel), Canco Rodríguez (Barajas), Pepa Rus (Macu) and Secun de la Rosa (Toni) are the actors who met this weekend of the week to remember the good times they had making the series.

The interpreters have made us accomplices of their meeting through social networks, where they have posted photos enjoying themselves as a family with many smiles.

"Today we had a private meeting where we laughed and cried. It has been years, many years, since this group hug has occurred. I am so happy that I need to share my joy. I love everyone deeply," commented Canco Rodriguez alongside a collection of the beautiful moments that they lived in their reunion.

"Today 18 years ago AÍDA was released. A series that changed the lives of all the people who worked on it. It is still being seen inside and outside our borders. THANK YOU," commented Paco León along with some photos of the recordings of the series.
