Military helicopter crashes in the US and all its occupants die

A military helicopter crashed this Wednesday very close to a busy highway in Huntsville, Alabama, and all the crew members of the aircraft died in the accident, the news network confirmed. Fox News.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office said the fatal crash occurred at 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Burwell Road and Highway 53 near Huntsville, Alabama.

Although the number of people who were on board the aircraft, there are no survivors. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded immediately and are on scene.

After the event, videos were published showing the moment in which the military helicopter falls and crashes.

Redstone Arsenal, a US Army post, said it was following up on the situation.

The helicopter, a Black Hawk, caught fire after impact. "First responders are on scene, and Redstone Arsenal is in full support of local authorities in their active investigation," the statement said.

"Initial investigations have determined that the incident is not related to Redstone Arsenal assets, and we will continue to support community authorities as the situation develops," he emphasizes.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office added that traffic in the area has been diverted to alternative routes and heavy traffic chaos is expected throughout the night.

"Madison sheriff's deputies are on the scene of a helicopter crash. The affected area is Highway 53 near Burwell Road. We anticipate nighttime traffic will experience major delays in this area throughout the night. All south of the "Highway 53 to Jeff Road is CLOSED, as well as between Douglas Road and Highway 63. Please use an alternate route due to expected overnight road closures," the statement said.

Professor Heather Pauly sent a message after the crash stating that the plane "came right over our house and it sounded like the engine had failed."
