Cuban Federation will demand $10 million dollars from pitcher Yariel Rodríguez

TheCuban Baseball Federation will demand 10 million dollars from the pitcherYariel Rodriguez for the "damages and losses" caused by his decision not to join the Japanese franchise Chunichi Dragons, with which he had a contract.

This was made known by the domestic entity in astatement appeared on the official siteJit, where he announced that "we will demand rights and responsibilities" and described the event as "serious failure to comply with what was agreed for the period 2023-2024 between Dragons, the athlete and our Federation, which acts as their representative in the agreement".

Rodríguez served as the leader of the Cuban rotation in the recent World Classic, andyesterday it was news who cut ties with the national federation and the Dragons to try to sign with a Major League organization.
