Teenager missing since 2015 in the US found alive

Andyoung man from Texas was found alivethis weekend, more than eight years after she was reported missing in Houston when she was 17 years old.

Rudolph "Rudy" Farias IV was located with some wounds, bruises and blood in the hair, and was admitted to a hospital, reported the Texas Center for the Missing.

As reportedmedialocals, was last seen on March 6, 2015, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

At the time he disappeared, Farias was walking his dogs in a neighborhood in northeast Houston.

"Please continue to keep his family in your prayers as Rudy recovers in the hospital," the Texas center said on Twitter.

Farias' mother explained to the press that someone called 911 after finding him outside a church almost unresponsive.

The woman said they tried to talk to him, but he only said a few words and went into the fetal position.

In 2015, authorities announced that Farias had been diagnosed with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.

Texas EquuSearch began asking the public for help in finding him, noting that he was possibly disoriented and had not been taking his medication.

Authorities said they temporarily suspended the search for the then-17-year-old on March 10, 2015, while they worked to gather more information. Two days later, on March 12, the search continued and ended the next day.

In another fortunate event, an American teenager who had been missing for six years was found alive in North Carolina, thanks to a Netflix series.

Kayla Unbehaun was nine years old when she was last seen on July 5, 2017 in South Elgin, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She was kidnapped by her mother, whose custody had been removed.

The minor, now 15 years old, was found in Asheville, North Carolina, thanks to the fact that her case was broadcast in the Netflix series "Unsolved Mysteries", about the kidnapping of children by their parents.
