Rodríguez, her mother and her grandmother hugged each other dressed in white, in tribute to the protesters of July 11, 2021 in Cuba, and especially to those who remain in prison for protesting that day.

"Many years apart, but God's timing is perfect, you are now home!!! Welcome my mom," Peña Macías posted onFacebook.

Rodríguez's mother clarifiedCyberCuba that due to the delay in the reunification process, they had submitted the request forparole humanitarian aid since January 12 to Reveca, a resident of Isla de la Juventud, but they had not yet approved it. "The interview for the claim arrived and well, the light ahead is what shines," he stated.

The young woman studied dance for four years on the island, something that her mother believes influenced her elegant bearing. In addition to her work as a model, Rodríguez alternates with other jobs and studies, and dreams of working as an Immigration lawyer.

This summer he graduated from High School and in August Rodríguez will begin college in Miami.

The mother told us thathas several commitments in the last quarter of the year as Miss Carnaval Miami, and in February 2024 she will hand the crown to the new queen.

Rodríguez is part of the models at the Alicia Faccio Modeling School academy, where they not only prepare young models for the catwalk, but also for life. "It ranges from modeling to etiquette and refinement," Peña said.

The young woman seems determined to set more ambitious goals for the future. In June 2024 she must participate in Miss Florida, her representative explained to our editorial team.
