The atypical decoration with a doll at the toilet paper sales location in a shopping center in San José, in Mayabeque, has generated ridicule from dozens of Cubans on social networks.
The place shows a pyramid of toilet paper topped by a doll, whose dress is made of the same product for sale.
"Patron Saint of Sanitary Paper," was baptized by an Internet user identified in like Yeni Pupita, while adding that he had seen her in the shopping center and "didn't know whether to give her 20 pesos or light a candle."
"My God, San José surpasses itself with every occurrence", "Absurdity and ridicule find no limits in Cuba", "Every time I see such ridiculousness I remember the documentary Estética by Enrique Colinas", were some comments to the publication.
"Honestly, they have no sense of taste, I would like to know who approved doing that... it looks like the dolls my grandmother put on top of the television with their lace tablecloth and everything!" or "right now there are worse decorations in that same place, not to mention the waste of toilet paper they went through to create that disgusting thing," expressed others.
One social network user even concluded with a prayer to the "Patron Saint of toilet paper": "Let the food be made, May it reach our tables, May there be no shortage of good appetite, Once digested and processed, The paper sanitary perform its divine function, Amen".
In recent months, Cubans have been delirious with the "occurrences" andcreations of "the designers" urban and commercial premises.
Last March in Santa Clara, criticism rained down for theBoulevard decoration, which looked like a real "obstacle course". Dozens of flower pots were relocated in this strange way, which made pedestrian traffic extremely difficult, for a visit by ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel.
